Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages

UK TCSOL is a tailored endorsement program for SVMP, Shanghai Volunteer Mandarin Program.

SVMP built a valuable bridge for language learning and culture exchange, with experienced and certified teachers teaching voluntarily, and expats in China learning a mandarin course for free. The program meets the need of expats as well as the teachers expanding their careers paths.

SVMP is the first platform of its kind. The program is led by government and collaborated by Shanghai International Academic Exchange Association（SIAEA）, Shanghai Daily the local English Daily, Shanghai Yudian Education the CAT UK center in China and the Chinese teacher provider for SVMP, and SuperChinese who is a leading Mandarin learning software developer.

SVMP trains its TCSOL teachers and the training is endorsed by Cambridge Academy of Translation UK. The program is also endorsed by TQUK through a partnership with International Han Institute.
